consider before buying any Beauty Products

Off late various online locales have transformed into the most cherished communities for women in Indonesia and as far and wide as conceivable hunting down quality and grouping of magnificence things on the web and various clients even claim that online goals not in any manner like the general recognition give a standout amongst the most secure and agreeable stages to buy surprising excellence things at direct rates.

Here are a couple of things to consider before purchasing any excellence items:

The essential thing you need to know in beautifying agents is that it is isolated into 4 segments: Skin, Eyes, Lips and Cheeks:

Skin – This beautifying agents for your skin (typically called “base” makeup, for instance, establishment (in that we have fluid establishments, cake establishments BB creams, tinted moisturizers, et cetera), concealer and powders.

Eyes – These are things for your eyes, for instance, eyeliner, eye shadow, mascara, and it incorporates eyebrows (pencils, powder, et cetera)

Lips – These things consolidate shading for your lips, regardless of whether its lip-sparkle, lipstick, lip stains, et cetera.

Cheeks – These things are typically normally bronzer, become flushed, or highlighters and shaping powders.

It isn’t a straightforward undertaking perusing the fixings in the smaller than usual scule print at the back of the each restorative compartment, yet it is an essential that you ought to solidify this into your shopping plan. Various things out there endeavor to impact you that their thing is common, natural or natural however don’t let this trick you. There is no real definition for these words, so organizations are permitted to use them aimlessly.

Toner: clearly there are fixings in your beauty care products things, which you will see however generally, understand that are not helpful for you. For example did you understand that liquor, which appears in most skin toners, genuinely dries out your skin? Notwithstanding the way that you have touchy skin, you would lean toward not to intentionally dry out your skin. So at whatever point you are hunting down a toner, endeavor one expected for sensitive skin, as these regularly doesn’t have liquor.

Fragrances: Next consider the smells. We as a whole understand that a rose by any name would smell as sweet, however envision a situation in which that name was a since quite a while ago convoluted ensnared engineered compound as Green Prophet’s Ecomum calls attention to? Some indicate disease and intrusion of the invulnerability framework. Knowing this, would you really think it noticed as sweet? So here you have the main thing to give careful consideration to; any thing whose stamp claims it has superb smells, you ought to abstain from buying them.

Taking Refugees

In the summer of 2015, Europe experienced the highest influx of refugees since the World War II. Why?

The main reason is that Syria has become the world’s top source of refugees. Syria is located in the middle-east, a fertile land home to diverse ethnic and religious groups. Since 1960s, it has been led by the Assad family which has ruled it as dictators until the Arab Spring happened in 2011. A revolutionary wave of protests and conflicts arose in the Arab World against the authoritarian regime. But the Assads refused to step down and started a brutal civil war. Different ethnicities and religious groups fought with each other in changing coalitions. ISIS, a jihadist militant group used the opportunity and entered the chaos with a goal to build a totalitarian Islamic caliphate. Very quickly, it became one of the most violent and successful extremist organizations on earth, all times committing harbor war crimes using chemical weapons, mass executions, torture on large scale and repeated deadly attacks on civilians. The civilian population was trapped between the regime, rebel groups and religious extremists.

“There is no honorable way to kill, no gentle way to destroy and there is nothing good in war, except its ending,” quoted Abraham Lincoln, but unfortunately this war has no end.

A third of the Syrian people have been displaced within Syria while over 4 million have fled the country. The vast majority of them reside now in camps in the neighboring countries, who are taking care of 95% of the refugees. The Arab states of the Persian Gulf together have accepted zero Syrian refugees which has been called especially “shameful” by the Amnesty International.

The UN in the World Food Programme was not prepared for refugee crisis on this scale. As a result, many refugee camps are crowded and undersupplied, subjecting people to cold, hunger and disease. The Syrians lost hope of their situation will be getting better anytime soon. So many decided to seek asylum in Europe. Between 2007 and 2014, the EU had invested about 2 billion Euros in defenses, high tech security technology and port patrols. But not a lot in preparation of influx of refugees, so it was badly prepared for the storm of the asylum seekers. In EU, the country where an asylum seeker first enters the union is responsible for registering the asylum application and taking the fingerprints, hence decreasing pressure on the states that were already in trouble. Greece, in the midst of economic crisis, on the scare of great depression was not able to take care of so many people at once, leading to terrible scenes of desperate hungry people on islands usually reserved for tourists. The world needed to come together and act as a united front but instead it has become more divided. Many states downright refused to take in any refugees leaving the neighboring states alone in their struggle. In 2014, the UK carried out a search and rescue operation called Mare Nostrum that was designed to stop the asylum seekers from drowning in the Mediterranean. The idea seems to have been the higher test hold on the sea would mean fewer asylum seekers trying to make the journey. The perception of the crisis around the world suddenly changed when the photos circulated of a dead boy from Syria found lying face down on a beach in Turkey.

Germany announced it will without exception accept all Syrian refugees and is now preparing to take in 8,00,000 people in 2015, more than the entire EU took in 2014, only to impose temporary border controls a few days later and a demand in EU wide solutions. All over the west more and more people are beginning to take actions. All those support for asylum seekers has mostly come from citizens and not from the politicians. But there are phases in the western world: Islam, high birth rates, crime and the collapse of the social systems. Let’s acknowledge this and look at the facts.

Even if the EU agrees to accept all the 4 million Syrian refugees and 100% of the Muslims, the percentage of Muslims in the EU would only rise to about 4% to about 5%. This is not a drastic change and will certainly not make it a Muslim continent. A Muslim minority is neither new nor reason to be afraid. Birth rates in many parts of the western world are low, so somewhere asylum seekers might overtake the native population in a few decades. Studies have shown that even though birth rates are higher among the Muslims in Europe, they drop just as the standard of living and level of education rises. Most Syrian refugees already are educated. The birth rates in Syria before civil war were not very high and the population was actually shrinking; now growing. The fear that refugees lead to high crime rate also turns out to be wrong. Refugees who become inhabitants are less likely to commit crimes than the native population. When allowed to work, they tend to start businesses and integrate themselves into the workforce as fast as possible, paying more into the social systems. Syrians coming to the west are potential professional workers desperately needed to sustain Europe’s ageing population.

Also refugees travelling with smart phones have led to the misconception that they are not really in need of help. Social media and the internet have become a vital part of being a refugee. GPS is used to navigate the long routes to Europe. Facebook groups give tips and information about obstacles in real time. This only proves that these people are like us. If you had to make a dangerous journey, would you leave your phone behind??

The EU is the wealthiest bunch of economies in the world. Well organized states with functioning social systems, infrastructure, democracy and huge industries. It can handle the challenge of refugee crisis if it wants to. The same can be said for the whole western world. While tiny Jordan has taken in 6,00,000 Syrian refugees, the UK which has 78 times the GDP of Jordan has only said that it would allow only 20,000 Syrians across its borders over the next five years. The US has agreed to accept 10,000 and Australia 12,000 people. Overall things are slowly getting better but not fast enough. We are writing history right now. How do we want to be remembered?? As enough rich cowards hiding behind fences!! We have to realize that these people suffering from death and destruction are no different from us. By accepting them into our countries and integrating them into our societies, we have much to gain. There is only something to be lost if we ignore this crisis. More dead children will be found on water shore if we do not act with humanity and reason. Let’s do this right and try to be the best we possibly can be.

In words of Dalai Lama, “Whether you are a native or a migrant, the most important thing is to be a compassionate human being.”

How to Pass the ICC Structural Masonry Plan Examination

A Structural Masonry Special Inspector is a member of the construction project team who ensures that the masonry segment is constructed based on the approved structural plan and specifications. The passing score of ICC Structural Masonry Plan Exam can be easily achieved if you come prepared for the exam. If you think your knowledge on the subject is not yet enough to successfully pass the test, you can increase your chances of getting your target passing score with the following tips:

  • The exam is conducted at a third party testing area. Read the ‘Candidate Bulletin’ and comprehend the information stated therein. The bulletin will tell you important details regarding the exam including the things you need to do before and after taking the ICC Masonry Plan Exam.
  • A Structural Masonry Special Inspector has a number of duties and one of them is to ensure that the contractor strictly implements the approved materials, such as the reinforcement being placed as per the plans properly. A candidate should be familiar with the tools and steps that will be found in any set of plans and also used not only in the field but at this important time, during the examination.
  • In relation to that, the exam is an open book type so examinees can take pertinent materials with them such as the 2009 International Building Code and the 2009 Masonry Codes and Specification Compilation. Familiarize yourself with these references along with other prescribed reference materials to build navigational skills.
  • A special inspector is also expected to understand important terminology related to the masonry construction industry. Therefore, a candidate must improve his or her memory ability and learn how to interpret and decide which the proper use is. By doing this small step it will increase your chances of passing the exam.
  • Part of the exam is to identify symbols and abbreviations found on building plans so candidates must know these symbols to get the passing scores.
  • You would also need instruments such as a calculator and a magnifying glass to help you figure the required bed joint size and also read the plans to answer the questions more competently.

In closing, learn how to manage your time. Examinees are given 3 ½ hours to complete the exam. 2 hours should be allotted to answer questions related to building plans. If you find yourself in need of guidance to make sure you are able to do this often overlooked step.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

SERVICE MASTER, Memphis, TN June 08 – Till Date

Senior Business Analyst

Terminix has approximately 800 customer service agents that reside in our branches in addition to approximately 150 agents in a centralized call center in Memphis, TN. Terminix customer service agents receive approximately 25 million calls from customers each year. Many of these customer’s questions are not answered or their problems are not resolved on the first call. Currently these agents use an AS/400 based custom developed system called Mission to answer customer inquiries into branches and the Customer Communication Center. Mission – Terminix’s operation system – provides functionality for sales, field service (routing & scheduling, work order management), accounts receivable, and payroll. This system is designed modularly and is difficult to navigate for customer service agents needing to assist the customer quickly and knowledgeably. The amount of effort and time needed to train a customer service representative using the Mission system is high. This combined with low agent and customer retention is costly.

The Impact of Marketing in the Society – Can We Really Make a Difference?

Definitions

Marketing is generally thought of as the process of promoting goods and services to the end user. We can think of this as McDonald’s advertising its Big Mac in such a way that we feel that we really need one for lunch. This demonstrates the advertising piece of the marketing mix, and is the element that most people identify with marketing.

Society is generally defined as the condition in which members of a community live together for their mutual benefit. Societies are more than just the individual members that make up the group, but the sum of the collective. We are all members of a society, and interact with the other members in that community. So what is the impact of marketing in the society?

Negative Connotations of Marketing – They Made Me Do It

Ever since society passed from a Subsistence economy (I grow my own food, make my own clothes, and don’t need anyone else to help me) to a Trade economy (I’ll grow some food to sell to you, if you will make some clothes to sell to me) we have had the challenge of marketing our products and services to others (Uh-oh, now that there are two people making clothes in my town I’d better let people know why they should buy mine). And ever since that first sales pitch there have been criticisms of marketing; like deceptive practices, high prices, unsafe products, and high-pressure sales – to name a few.

But many critics go further and claim that marketing has created false wants, promoted materialism, produced cultural pollution, and allowed big companies to gain significant political power. And there is an element of truth to all of these claims. Companies that have not performed ethically have had a damaging effect in society that the ethical businesses must now work through.

And the Good?

But it is hard to deny the positives that marketing has brought upon society as well. The wealth of technology at our fingertips today is directly related to the sales of these items and the continued downward pricing caused by the promotion of computers, cell phones, GPS navigation systems, digital cameras, MP3 players, etc. Dozens and dozens of these types of products are commonplace today, but seemed like luxuries for the rich just a few years ago. In fact, most of the people below the poverty line in the US today live better than royalty did 200 years ago — with cars, heating and air conditioning, microwave ovens, cell phones, televisions, and other amenities now considered necessities.

More importantly, most medium to large companies now have significant charitable giving and service programs that donate large sums of money and time to needy organizations that make a difference in the lives of millions of people every year. Whether companies do this out of a pure heart or a need for positive publicity, the result is the same — and many of the neediest in society are better for it.

Doing the Right Thing

As the public grows more knowledgeable and educated, they hold businesses to a higher standard than was once the case. The abuses of workers that were common a century ago are not tolerated by society today. Now corporate ethics policies drive decisions in the boardroom and the marketing department so that the end user (that’s us) benefits in many ways. Doing the right thing is a good policy because people want to do business with someone they trust and respect. And the companies that are exposed as cheaters, liars, or abusers are generally shunned in the marketplace (Enron, anyone?).

The bottom line is that though there is a negative impact of marketing in the society, there is a positive to balance it out; and it is our job as society to reward the good guys with our purchases and punish the unethical companies by neglecting them in the marketplace. As we continue to do this over and over, we make Big Business aware that they will make money only if they honor their ethics policies and do the right thing on a consistent basis. In this way we can make a difference in the marketing tactics employed to sway our decisions. And that is a positive that we as a society can live with.

Living High, Training Low

Athletes in endurance events practice a training technique called “living high, training low”. Many years ago, scientists noticed that people who live in the mountains, where the air contains lower levels of oxygen, have higher than normal blood oxygen levels. A limiting factor in events that require endurance is the time it takes to move oxygen from the lungs into the muscles. Since more than 98 percent of the oxygen in the blood is bound to red blood cells, people with high numbers of red blood cells should have higher levels of oxygen and therefore have more oxygen available for their muscles, giving them greater endurance. It appears that living and training at high altitude would improve performance even more, so theoretically, all long distance runners, cross country skiers, bicycle racers and other athletes in endurance sports would benefit from living and training at high altitudes.

However, you can’t train as intensely in the mountains where oxygen is sparse. Lack of oxygen during hard exercise slows you down. One group of researchers decided to see if living at high altitudes would increase red blood cell concentration, and training at low altitude would allow the athletes to take harder workouts. Eleven trained middle-distance runners were tested before an 18-day training session in which they slept in special low-oxygen pressure chambers and trained at sea level with oxygen-rich air (Journal of Applied Physiology, January 2006). The tests were repeated 15 days after the training. The athletes who lived high and trained low had higher maximal oxygen uptakes, higher maximal aerobic power and lower resting heart rates than the control group. The blood of these athletes could carry more oxygen, and the oxygen concentration in their bloodstream would return to normal earlier after intense competitions so their performance would improve.

This varies from country to country, of course, and candidates must be aware of their respective accreditation governing bodies. As well, not all of the human resource management courses boast of placement services, so one has to choose very carefully, also in this aspect.

However, if the institute is well renowned in the specific country with proper accreditation, finding a job based on a diploma certificate should not be that difficult. A typical human resource management course comprises of subjects such as HR strategy, managing, motivation, organizational behavior, recruitment, employee relations, and much more. After completing a HR management course one can expect to work as a human resource manager in a private firm.

The pay packages are usually tempting as the HR sector is one of those fields that spared the global economic slowdown just eighteen months back! Surely, professional Human resource management courses are among the most coveted courses all over the world today. So investment in this sector is never wasted as various companies will always seek newer avenues to enrich their forms of capital.
